But our talented team, determination and
advanced equipment and processes made it all possible.
After Sterling Surfaces was suggested by DuPont Corian®, we worked with
designers David Rockwell and Barry Richards to create 20 chairs and
4 loveseats for the dining concourse in New
York's Grand Central Station.
The challenge was how to create
comfortable seating that could withstand the
wear and tear of day-to-day use in a high
traffic area.
Corian® could be thermoformed to do this
with advanced forming techniques.
